A Childs imaginings

by JLR

Splashes splatter,
make for wet socks.
All those puddles
a river formed.

              Gaily sploshing
              a young lad walks
              Fairies' bubbles
              float high, well-formed.

                                  Pitter-patter
                                  where giants walk.
                                  Dragons huddle
                                  sharp-tails deformed.

                                                  Crossed swords clatter,
                                                  a black crow squawks.
                                                  Folk tale grumbles
                                                  told while it stormed.
