Re-Write A Song
Poems are Part I of every song with lyrics. Choose a song you love, and re-write the words. Can be a Broadway tune, a pop or country song, even a Christmas carol -any song at all! But whatever it is, you'll help yourself in the polls if you also post a recorded version of the original song when you post the new-and-improved lyrics/contest entry by you. (Because the voters might not be familiar with the tune, so giving them a chance to listen to it will help them "hear" yours!)
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 28.00 member dollars. There are 4 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 36.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
