October NATURE haiku
Poetry Contest
Please write just ONE nature haiku in three lines with a syllable count of 5-7-5.
The word, 'October' (capitalized) must be included.
All the other words must be in lower case (unless proper nouns) with NO punctuation, except for possessive apostrophes which ARE allowed.
Title must read; 'haiku (first line of your poem)'.
Plain text with no staggering of lines or fancy presentation, in just TWO colours - one background, and one for the type.
Present tense.
NO artwork or music.
NO author notes.
'Description' must read; 'October haiku contest', and nothing else.
PLEASE keep promotion to a MAXIMUM of 52 cents.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
