Alphabet Challenge
Poetry Contest
The challenge is a variation on the ABC poem format. Instead of the usual 5 line poem, you must use the entire alphabet in sequence starting with the letter "A". Each line starting with the subsequent letter. The last line can start with any letter. Therefore your poem should be 27 lines in length.
The poem has to be a continuous piece and not just a random selection of lines. There is no requirement for rhyme, but do so if you wish. Any other format / forms can be utilised such as a suite of haiku, but it must follow the alphabet.
No A if for... either - Each line must start with a proper word - No abbreviations (looking at you X!).
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Monday, August 31, 2015.
