Winless For 30 Days
Write an acrostic using a famous poet?s name (pen names permitted).

There must be at least seven letters.

You may use any combination of the poet?s name that adds up to seven or more letters. For example: Poe is not allowed (only 3 letters), but Edgar Allan Poe (preferred), or Edgar A. Poe, etc. are permitted.

Use any poet from the time of Geoffrey Chaucer (1343) to the present.

The whole acrostic can be a single flowing sentence, or a combination of multiple sentences and phrases. Each individual letter of the name can have a single line or multiple sentences and phrases.

Creativity with the form is encouraged.

This is a Winless contest. Only authors that have not won first place in 30 days may enter.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 25.00 member dollars. There are 13 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
