SharonSue: I have been able to write since I was in high school. I have enough of a collection that I could have a book published of my poetry and short stories. I won 2nd prize in a poetry contest that was offered by a local college which surprised me very much. I had my poem described as to what forms etc. that I had written in. I had no clue as I only write when something comes to be after seeing something, personal adventures, or from feelings received. I just like to put my feelings down on paper and am pleased to say it hasn't stopped with age. I am 69 years and have new poems all the time.
