redman6650e: Started writing poetry at 18, but have always enjoyed creative writing even in elementary school. I have also written a couple short stories and I took a correspondence class on how to become a freelance writer. I studied how to market work,be prepared for plenty of rejection notices. I am enjoying all the feedback on this site, other sites where I have posted, its been a struggle to secure loyal readers.
