So the shoemaker got the boot. Love it. If he shooed away her friends she was wise to get rid of him. Nice job on this story of lost love. Perfectly worded and illustrated. Marilyn

It's good - however, the last line didnt' quite make sense to me. Could you have said "she stomped him on her way out" - or "she kicked him out" - didn't quite understand use of the word "stitch" in that sentence.
well done.

That "stitched him a lesson?" Oh well, I would have wanted him behind bars if he "laced her drinks." Good thing Jordana got out of a dangerous re-lace-tionship!

A very well-written fifty word romantic advice who will be great professionals to date. The shoe maker may be a good choice you will not walk with broken shoes and the first to wear the newest fashion.

Thanks for another giggle. And dreadful news coming through about the volcano off New Zealand erupting. It seems there will be a number of deaths from this event. Very sad.

    Thanks for reviewing.
All sorts of dramas here. .. erupting volcanos up north, flooding down south. The main highway south has been cut for 3 days now - stranded tourists, missed flights, supermarket supplies disrupted.
Obviously the volcano is the biggie with deaths. I have been there - it is fascinating; thank goodness it didn't erupt when I was there.

I hadn't heard about the other problems. Stay safe.

You're too funny, Lisa May. "He wouldn't leather see them??!!" Really?? As much as I wanted to groan, I had to admit that was actually funny. This seems to have more puns per line than some of your previous offerings. I counted 11 puns in total - and, yes, I picked up on "last." All in all, an excellent job.

Well spotted in your pun count, Michele. I think 11 is my maximum so far - of course, some professions are easier to write about with specific terminology.

I guess you?d have a little more trouble if you were dealing with a doctor who removes bunions. Once you get past ?I see you?ve got a bunion the oven,? it?s all downhill.

I think your play on words is delightful -- and clever to think of all those terms related to one subject. I'd like to read the others, so I'll look at your portfolio and get some more chuckles and be awed by your creativity.

I was watching something on television last week, and it involved one pun after another. It made me think of you. You have made a punny name for yourself. You are the master.
I think that I am enjoying your romances with real people even better than the animals.
Hope you are having a good weekend.

Thanks for reviewing Debbie - I'm pleased you are liking these.
We are having such a wet time of it here in southern NZ; the main highway to my city has been cut by floods for the past 3 days, and now in the North Island there has been a volcanic eruption with deaths.

Wow. I'm watching the news. The breaking news was the eruption. It's coming up after the commercial.

Sorry to hear about the volcano eruption. I hope you are getting good air to breathe.

Another gem. In fact Jordana had diamonds on the soles of her shoes for a while. Did he speak with a brogue? Is that why he got the boot? LOL. I can see it's easy to become addicted to word play.

Blessings Julia
