Your poem is so soothing! I love how you've captured the peacefulness of nature. The idea of snow as a "snug blanket" really adds to the cozy feeling! It's easy to imagine the earth resting peacefully under that soft snowy cover. Wonderful work!

I see the double meaning with the comforter whether it is a blanket or a person offering comfort the earth covers the ground with a comforter of snow. This puts new meaning for a person offering comfort such as Mother Nature offering comfort to all of us here on this planet.
