Good save being caught saying she could find out when people died. V thought fast and calmed Joe's fears. No one wants to know that! Except me, but no one can tell me...grrr...
So, if she can't go to Bristol, then HOW? Looks like a dead end from here, but I'm sure your clever Veronica will think of something. And hurry up... I'm anxious to meet Francis the albino. :)

You are doing a little better now, aren't you? Didn't you tell me the doctors gave you some good news regarding your lungs? I hope I got that right.
Thank you so very much for the lovely 6 stars, Phyllis, I really appreciate them. You review is lovely too. Victoria is on the case alright, just wait till the next part!!! Big hugs, my friend. Sandra xx

I'm about five percent better and that's a lot for me. The dizziness/off-balance affects my walking, but I don't walk very much, so there's no point in doing rehab therapy for it. I just had another lung scan and it still has not changed... been three years now. BUT it's much harder to breathe, so SOMETHING is wrong that they don't know, and it is not pressure in lungs or weakened heart. I'll ask my pulmonologist AGAIN in two weeks. But at least I can sit and type and still feel normal here at the computer. :)

Let me know how you get on when you see her/him again. Yes, writing is a good way to stop the boredom setting in when you can't get out like you used to. With your imagination, you can go anywhere. Is the next part ready yet? No pressure!! :) xxx

Well done. Interesting dialogue and good rhythm throughout the piece. You are setting up the following sequences nicely and also instill valid emotions in the current dialogue. Good job.

This is a well written story and makes this reader continue on with the journey to Bristol. I love the super natural elements and the character having human dilemmas, such as telling a lie and attempting control maneuvers in their roles.
You have created credible characters and the plot is imaginative but plausible. Well written.
Have a great day.

Joe definitely got a bit of rude awakening in this chapter. It was great that he did divulge the information that Rosie was from the Bristol area and that there was a split second of hope of finding Jacob. Joe did take Gwendolyne's death rather well, even though it added to his confusion. Veronica will eventually figure it all out, after all the powers to be could not and would not be so cruel. Very well done, Sandra, very enjoyable and packed with lots of interesting information. Thank you so much.

Hi Sandra,
Poor old Joe, sitting on a goldmine... or chocolate mine but no ingredients...
Some leads but not without their difficulties.
Few bits & pieces.
Rosie's kin be living - should probably clip the 'g' off this.
I ain't got the money t' buy it / aint nothin' in Bristol fer the likes of me - both Joe's dialogue here but different presentations of aint. keep them the same.
'Um, let me be getting' this right in me 'ead.' - delete the 'g' from getting.
come back an' tell's me yeh be talkin' t' Gwendolyn - I don't think you need the apostrophe for tells here.
In for a penny, in for a pound!' I spoke to her ghost, Joe ... I can do that, too.'- need to move the opening speech mark here.
'We? - need closing speech mark here.
All the best

Oh, Gareth! What a lot of errors, thank you so very much for picking them up for me. I'll do the corrections now. If it wasn't for your care in reviewing I'd be lost. I can't thank you enough, you are indeed the best reviewer here. You wouldn't believe how many times I've gone over this. Back to the drawing board! Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxxx

Bless your heart, Douglas, what a pleasant surprise to see your name here. I looking forward to seeing you a lot more when you don't feel so tired. Thank you so much for reading this part. I keep meaning to write a synopsis of all the chapters so far. I will get round to it this week, hopefully. Thank you also for the lovely 6 stars, that is so very kind of you. Big hugs, my friend, and lots of love. :) Sandra xx

Hi Sandra, another wonderful chapter and so well written as always. I really enjoy the ride. Veronica really stepped into it this time when she said she could see how long anybody would live. But thank God, she got away with the explanation. I can see why she needs too go to Bristol, and also why it's a bit of a problem. Can't wait to be reading on. Hugs. Ulla xxx

Thank you so much, Ulla. I don't think I'd want to know when I was going to die, would you? If I thought I would be fit and healthy and live until I was 100, then perhaps I might. But that isn't likely! LOL. Thank you so much for your lovely review, my friend, and the lovely six stars. They mean a lot coming from you. :) Sandra xxx

You have just made my day, Ben! I am a chocoholic and now I know I can eat it for medicinal reasons, I'm going straight round the chocolate shop and getting a trolley load of dark chocolate bars!!! LOL! Do they say it helps you to lose weight as well?? :))
Thank you so very much for the lovely review, my dear friend, and all those lovely stars. You are so very kind. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandy. xxx

There is so much here for me, just now wading in, to catch up to. Your dialogue, such as the vernacular used with Joe, really humanizes him and brings the reader in. Need to read more of the story to get the full idea.

Comment from Rasmine
Hello, :)
How are you doing?
Good chapter. I hope they work out the hopelessness.
I found a typo, unless you meant it, and I have a suggestion:
She were saving it for a special treat, but she said it were (did you mean 'was'?) worth it!'
The suggestion has to do with the chocolate. If he sold it, wouldn't it interfere with history? Because people would discover it, or did already, I don't know.
Hey, have a good weekend.

Hi, Rasmine, no, it's not an error, if it was this book would be littered with them. lol. It's the local dialect and has been used all through this book and the first book in the trilogy. And no, it won't change history, chocolate was already out and kept for the gentry. I make sure everything I write in the story has been thoroughly researched. Thank you for reading and reviewing, my friend. :) Sandra x

Ah!!! Now I am craving chocolate! :D
