I must admit, that it might very well take me a while to figure out why Veronica could possibly have been sent back so far. Or in truth, I'll probably just have to wait until you tell us. Thanks for another fine chapter. :-)

Thank you, Ric. She'll be given a reason, but it won't be the real one. Not yet. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx
Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
"What?" His voice rose and his eyes darted to the door again, then satisfied his mother hadn't heard, he smirked. "Ya don't even know what year this is? Some 'elp you'll be then." He tossed his head with a look of superiority, and I almost laughed out loud, but the smile froze on my face when he told me it was(space)1846.
Mildred hasn't even been born yet, or Lady Ann! Why on earth have I been sent this far back in time? What am I expected to do when I have nothing to work on? It's not fair! Whoever is doing this, it's got to stop ... or at least let me know, so I can prepare myself....' This was perfectly written and I did not see any flaws but the lack of space between 1846 and was, wonderful, best wishes Meia x

Thank you, Meia. I've sorted that space out, I missed that! I'm delighted with your review and so pleased you enjoyed this part. Big hugs. Sandra xxx

Sandra, you slipped Veronica back in time, smoothly. Soon after she talked about it, Veronica was back in time with Daveth. The boy's surprise was written believably. I could see his reaction although Veronica adjusted well. I'm beginning to appreciate the writing much better now. It is more advance to what I've could see before. This is good writing and a great story as well.

What a lovely review, thank you so much, my friend. I'm especially pleased that you thought Daveth's surprise came across believably. Thank you also for the shiny six stars, that is the icing on the cake! Big hugs. Sandra xx

You're welcome.

This is different from other time travels. She doesn't know anyone and can't be seen by anyone but Daveth. So she may have been sent back to 1846 just to help him or work thru him in some way. You have me verrry curious. :)

What a lovely friend you are, Phyllis! Thank you so very much for the fabulous 6 stars. I almost gave the plot away when I started telling you about how Jack the Ripper was really Daveth as a child and that he changed his name after Veronica had taught him all she knew about how to murder people and she also shows him where the cesspit is to hide the evidence before he travelled up to London, but fortunately, I stopped just in time! LOL! Big hugs, :) Sandra xxx

Hmmm... so then WHO is Daveth going to be? Donald Trump?
-
No, it has to be someone from history... hmmm... Hitler is too recent...

Wow! This is going to be a great ride through this story. Poor Veronica is back in an earlier time than before. She doesn't have Lady Ann or Mildred to support her. This would be especially scary.
The dialogue and reactions are very true to life. I love the little boy.
Veronica raised a question when she said "Whoever is doing this . . . " It will be interesting to know what/who causes her to time travel.
Excellent! Can't wait for more. Well, I guess I'll have to. LOL
-I was in Mrs Humphries' body[]
-the cooling ash[] brought me back to my present situation

Hi Yvonne, thank you much for the lovely six stars, and big hugs for finding those errors, which I've now corrected, :) Daveth is a sweetheart, and I'll have fun with his character. I'm so pleased you are still liking my story, my friend, sometimes, sequels don't hold up as good as the first one. Thanks again, and big hugs! :) Sandra xxx

Oh, but this is beautiful, Sandra. What a fright it must be for Veronica to be send that far back in time. I wonder what the reason would be. It's such a fascinating story. I love it. And who is the boy? I can't wait to reading on. A hug. Ulla xxxx

Here we go again...1846. Wow that is a long time ago.
I have to wrap my head around this again. Daveth can
see her, his mother can't. I didn't see any mistakes but they would have to be really bad for me to notice. I'm
wondering just what she can do for him as well. Good job. Nancy

Thank you, my dear friend, for reading and reviewing this one. I'm with you on the finding the mistakes. I make enough of my own to find any in other people's writing. I never have the confidence to point something out in case I'm wrong" LOL. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

I find this great. Well written. Good dialogue. Natural and believable under the circumstances. I'll have to go back to read the beginnings of this.

I am have the same questions that Veronica has. I can't wait until we get the answers. I wonder what is going on with Daveth and his mom. I will wait on pins and needles until I get answers.
