I'm so glad to see Jed back, albeit unwell but appears to be on the improve, I'm sorry to see your program failed, that isn't easy, I remember years ago I had my hard drive and 200 poems were lost forever, the guy was devastated but it didn't bring the poems, great write, Jay, you've retained your abilities of raconteurship! Well done, blessings, Roy.

'Touch and go' is really good readable with the characters played in it and the situations are truly admirable.
Jay Squires is really hardworking and is understable to anyone how much he/she has patience to rewrite the lost manuscripts.Its a sign of greatness that once again she'll turn out to be a genius and a great writer who has lost all the manuscript on burning,and the writer became well known writer in the world.So Jay Squires shouldnot to be dishearteded and go ahead.
Inspite of that she must look the lines and words:
1)I must tell you,it will be touch(touched ?)...
2)was a welcomed(welcome ?) sound
3)cloths(clothes?)
Rest all right-go ahead!

Wowwww, not good at all! If you didn't have to replace your hard drive, many times a computer guy can retrieve files because they aren't really gone. Or call customer service for the program you have the chapters on and they may be able to walk you through getting them back.
Man I can feel for you--I've been there with crashes before, so now I back up my back up!
On a happier note, this was a really good chapter. Always good to show more of the human factor in Doctrex.
I'll post another chapter tomorrow.

I had the Dell techies on the phone with me for about 5 hours trying to help me retrieve. It was my last day of the extended warranty on my computer so at least I was able to get a new "mother board" put in so I was left with a computer.

Grrrr. I hear you about doing 'tech time.' I've done it myself. Drives you crazy. Hang in there! I can so sympathize with you.

Thank you, GracieAnn. I full understand. I have discovered that other people tend to have lives of their own. I try to convince them to hang with me, but they stubbornly look after their own needs first! LOL, Selfish of them, eh? Seriously, anything you read helps me ... and hopefully is enjoyable to you.
