Welcome Back! You have written a story, beginning, middle, and a surprise ending, in a few words. There is no room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Very surprising and complete in 100 words. In the emergency room could you give a hint about the type of man he is. Generic killing seems less interesting than a reason, but it is a good story like this.

So true, but that word limitation boxed me in. We all know I love to expand and expand some more with my writing. Thanks for the kind review. Smiles, Carol

As they say, "Truth can be stranger than fiction." Many people hide their true feelings, and ill deeds. We can only truly know and count on ourselves. In your 100 Word Flash Fiction, Heidi, a medical professional, is hiding the worst deed ever. She murders men. What a surprising plot twist.
Best wishes in the contest.

The tortured mind and thoughts of anyone, male or female, can lead them to do the unspeakable. I appreciate your thoughts and review very much. Thank you. Smiles, Carol

Nice fiction. There may be a lot of truth in fiction. Firelighters are often arsinists and some doctor have been found to be the ones who ended the life of patient. Some guys who work as leaders and coaches are the one how molest kids.

One never knows the turmoil lies within another's brain and heart to cause them to be something far from what they represent. Thanks for the review, Beth. Smiles, Carol

Wow. Only fiction, that's good, but it is not unusual for many very"ordinary" people to be killers, it would seem. Well written with an excellent and dramatic twist. Best wishes for the contest.

OOOOOOOH! Well...you SAY it's only fiction, but I can just imagine there are a whole lot of folks who "present" as professionals (even medical professionals)--and yet are true sociopaths who get their biggest thrill from snuffing out lives! This was particularly great as you somehow packed all of this into 100 words... Great final line!

If I learned anything while I was absent from FS is that people may present a kind, understanding face, but actually be wearing a mask. My trusting heart has shivered at the thought.

Oh, Carol... Isn't this the truth? I seem to encounter more "masked" personas than real ones these days!

But it's only fiction...or is it? I like these mysterious ones, maybe we don't embrace the art of killing, but you're right we all have secrets we don't bare in public, for whatever reason, beautiful written Carol, succinctly put, blessings Roy

This would be a rare reality as most nurses are very dedicated, but there is always one who might mean others harm, a poignant and chilling story and I am glad it is fiction! Love Dolly x

Ooh. Now that's different. It's usually a male serial killer but this one is a woman. I suppose she has a personal vendetta of some kind. You told it well in these brief 100 words. I think this will do well in the contest!

First off, Heidi should not be working in the emergency room. Lol. This was one of those stories that is Alfred Hitchcock like. That's a huge compliment in my book. I liked the buzz of action at the beginning then the eerie calmness at the end. Great job. Gretchen
