The time has come. At last my overdue baby has arrived!   Are you a boy or a girl?  I laugh at the absurd question. I don’t care. I’m just so relieved it is here, perfectly formed.  It’s nearly split me asunder, but now my tears of weary effort become ones of joyful gratitude.  You delight me, my beautiful brown-eyed one!   I am flushed with satisfaction as I push the button. The laxative pill has worked.   Writing Prompt Can you tell a complete story with just 75 words? That is the challenge of this flash fiction contest. Title not included in word count.
