Caught in tempest of sudden snowstorm,
bright autumnal leaves bravely cling
to limbs now burdened with ice;
their waning splendor heaves
and moans until each
mottled leaf lies
buried by

Author Notes
Dear Friends,
Just a note:
If you chance to read my offering on an iPad or an iPhone, the lines may appear "wonky." But please be assured that the lines of my poem are centered, in the shape of a reversed isosceles triangle, and each line contains the required syllabic count of a Nonet. As I shared with fellow writer, Brett Matthew West, "Ah! Technology!" Thank you!
