You come to me with promises
of feelings that I seek
You comfort me and seal the deal
a kiss upon my cheek
Assurances of sunny days
if I'll just let you in
A contract written with my hope
that here the good guys win
I bet on you for tenderness
for comfort and a friend
You kissed my cheek and left me here
with nothing in the end
Your answer was to poison me
to put to sleep and numb
A zombie lives now in this shell
yet only seen by some
The darkness like a siren's call
so easily choose you
I'm writing you a letter mate
I hate you Judas Blue
