The Crescent Moon Like a smile the moon sits high Amongst the starry black night sky This crescent moon just hanging there Suspended though no strings you bear  But wait, your yellow smile’s now red And fading fast from me instead Again I look no longer see You’ve gone another place to be.         Christine 27/4/2018   Recognized Author Notes Watching the crescent moon one night it seemed like a smile hanging in the sky and then it turned red and disappeared quite bizzare This is my reflective poem Thanks to supergold for the image the new moon.
