Though I walk alone, God hears my prayer.
For my journey to the promised land
crosses fields of shale and burning sand.
Stones may cut me, thorny briers ensnare;
But without a doubt, if I reach out
in my time of need, the manna's there.
Oh, rejoice my soul, the feast is grand:
Though I walk alone, God hears my prayer.
