Excellent a surprise find The Blank Book by RodG 100 Word Story writing prompt entry

Jordy, an MFA student on Spring Break, spent too much of his time as a beachcomber.  Whenever he’d tried on his laptop to write that novel sunk deep in his head, it wouldn’t come.  Frustrated, he searched the sand for treasure. Early one morning he discovered an abandoned plaid blanket near a trio of palm trees.  On it lay an open book with blank pages. “Somebody’s journal?” he muttered as he thumbed through it. No words appeared anywhere but the inside front cover:  Write what’s in you, Jordy. He gaped.  Who’d left this for him?  He’d come to Lauderdale alone.
