I feel like an isolated prisoner wherever I am. When I speak, it seems I'm ignored. I raise my voice, hoping to be heard, but I feel treated as less than human. Others govern my social life, making me a captive of their whims. My only solace now is conversing with the television, my sole companion. Words fall short of describing my profound loneliness.   Remind me when all this is game over. I feel like I am in a video game where the computer controls my life. Currently, I am Player 1 within it. I am well-prepared! Writing Prompt In 100 words, or less, write a short story--not necessarily a flash-fiction, though it could be--on the theme/subject/topic of 'prisoner'. It could be literal or metaphoric.
