and like a hapless tree caught
in its fury I’ll bend but won’t break

Write a poem on any topic that has the 5-7-9 syllable count. So the first line has 5 syllables. Second line has 7. The final line has 9 syllables. |

I struggle to not let Winter get me down. I abhor cold weather, especially icy winds, and never feel warm even inside.
