Samuel Squirrel is my name
I think I have a right to file a claim
To the guy who spreads seeds and bread
You know, it is a very impressive spread
But just as I begin my morning feast
Not one bird, but many come to eat
I chatter trying to shoo them away
They insist they have a right to stay
“Okay, birds,” I say. “We have a situation
It is giving us all both upset and agitation”
A robin chirped, “Why can’t we share and
Show everyone about each other we care?
Look about, there is plenty for all of us
Squirrels, birds and even some chipmunks”
“Yes!” I said, “I actually like that solution
Let’s join together and make a resolution
From now on, we’ll not fight for food
Be friends and in a neighborly mood
The robin said, "We’ll shall be thankful for
Our guy sharing what he is so kind to give us.”
