June 7th is a special day for those who walk on Earth. ~
For on that day, tots were born with joy, devoid of dearth.
But somewhere even luckier – not one, but a true pair,
To celebrate the joys of life, twins! - all smiles for the affair.
But by design, the pair was split,
Now just one - a she - at eighty-six.
Eight decades filled with ankle sprains,
But also blessed with gentle rains.
And there were times when ears would ache,
Not by mistake, just God’s give-and-take.
Nine decades soon! How to live? What to do? Where’s the door?
God‘s test, is quite simple. . . just live to ninety-two or more.
Your friend here, with just two decades of pain ~
This means, many more years for Joy to reign.
And on that day, a Birthday Wish that’s dear –
