Dodging plopping drops We slosh through the pelting rain Streets and sidewalks sheen Pretty mirrors go unseen To the next place we all flee     Screams of laughter reign With or without some good boots Puddles our domains Worlds explored with just two feet Unafraid of getting wet     At our journey's end Coexisting for a time The sunshine we had Upon the curtain of rain Our lives create a rainbow.     Author Notes My favorite song about rain is by Anna Graceman.
