in the line of fire  common men called forth to serve-  veterans stand tall no one ever left behind  a brotherhood forged in war  Author Notes This is my first ever Tanka. I was not sure if it had to read as a single sentence. Dictionaries show the word fire to be considered one syllable unless it is rhymed.
