Waiting for you ...  I watch as  dusk forms shadows across our lawn.   Waiting for you ...  I gaze out the window; stars appear as darkness approaches.   Waiting for you ...  I see smeared outlines of red lipstick,  along the edge  of your crystal wine glass.   Waiting for you ... I smell your lingering perfume  and, begin to cry.   Waiting for you ...  Night has taken over, you are gone and, I am alone.     Writing Prompt Write a free verse poem to express the state of loneliness in not more than 15 lines.
