Do you remember the movie, ‘Edward Scissorhands’?  Vincent Price was preparing to provide real hands to replace the odd looking ‘scissorhands’ his boy creation began life with. I thought it all fiction until I met my 'Italian' girlfriend when I truly began understanding a unique style of creative hand gesturing.    Writing Prompt Write a humorous 50 word story. 50 words exactly. No need to have a beginning, a conflict or resolution. Just tell something funny in 50 words. No poetry. Recognized Author Notes Yes, the Italians are the creators of sign language. This story refers to a Hispanic woman who speaks fluent Italian. Crazy!
