Author Notes
Scheherazade was the beautiful storyteller who told the Tales of the Arabian Nights. The King was deceived by his wife, so he sentenced her to death along with three thousand innocent virgins for good measure. Scheherazade distracted the King by telling him such enthralling tales that he kept her alive for night after night in order to hear the next one. One thousand and one tales later, she became his Queen.
