My secretary buzzed me and said, “A woman says she’s a voice from your past.” I pick up the phone. “Hi, it's Susie.” My heart quivered. She broke our engagement and married another. I think about her often. I meet her and we have dinner out of the city.  There’s a soft blush on her cheeks when she murmurs, “I miss our love.” After dinner, on the way to the car, she grasps my hand, fingers entwine.
