A thought to please,
Of you and me,
Hand in hand,
Strolling, free,
In the sand,
By the sea,
Palm trees,
Our hearts at ease,
A kiss of glee,
A starry sky,
A warm sea breeze,
For you and I,
These thoughts shall please,
And forever be,
Cherished in our memories.

Author Notes
I use to work and live in Florida. I always enjoyed the beaches, and going out on the water deep sea fishing, and especially I loved the climate there. Didn't much care for the hurricanes though. I went through the one called David back in the mid 70's while working at Calder Racecourse. I guess my living there influenced this seashore writing. I can still remember when I wrote it for a friend to send to his wife. I even remember asking him what stands out in your memory that that would make a good card poem, and he mentioned that his wife and him had enjoyed times together visiting Florida and going to the beach, so that is why and how this poem came about. Thanks for your time in reading my poem and Thanks for the review.
