The quiet darkness of Brian's bedroom doesn't provide tranquility to his shattered brain. Unfortunately, when his brain splintered, it left shards of random thoughts everywhere. He cannot sweep them into a neat little pile and toss them away. No, the ideas compete in his brain on the Indy 500 thought track. His family and friends deserted him when his brain imploded. Loneliness and abandonment are racing right now. In the darkened stillness of midnight delirium, abandonment is winning this race.
