Yellow brick road by Brian Michael ferris

I kept walking down the path,
The fault was in my math,
I miscounted all my steps,
Then fell down Into a rest,
I must have slept there for awhile,
For I slept right through the trial,
Though not guilty I was found,
Below I will be I was bound,
In the dungeon of the fortress,
no use in running from the sorceress,
The slippers I possess getting rich was just a test,
She tried to trick them with her best,
The wicked witch was from The west,
In the east there is a beast so I'll be headed north or south,
Believe me please at least I heard it when he said it from the horses mouth,
I'm in the emerald city but it's time that I go home,
Is anyone ever with me when I rhyme I'm reminded I'm alone,
