* * * * *   Dear Father, Injustice, hate, corruption – such problems on this earth … But I am very thankful that you offered me new birth. You warned us there’d be troubled times, that it would be this way … But I don’t need to fear when I stand on Judgment Day. Can I ask please that Your Son will come and help me through, If I don’t have Him by my side, then Lord what will I do? * “Do not worry or be afraid,” Your word will say to me – Of course, the practice is not easy – with my anxiety, About my life, my needs, my family, and friends …” But I can trust you for I know: Your love – it never ends. Yes, Lord, please walk beside me, so we’re together in this life And then I’ll see You fully in the next world, without strife. * I’ve many times experienced your love, your care and grace, During many times of pain, and more than one hard place, So I ask You for my loved ones please whisper in their ears That You love and want them too, and take away their fears Show them they need You, clearly, in a way they can’t mistake Bring them to eternal life, on the path that they must take. * That is my most pressing need, to be assured they’ll live Forever with Your family, enjoying all You want to give. My heart’s weighed down at times, for fear that they’ll ignore The blessings that You offer, and what you have in store. But you’re the One with power, and Your love can fill an ocean So please set my heart at rest and stop my mind’s commotion. * Of course, I don’t blame You for the mess this world is in It’s the “me first” attitude which really is a sin! But somehow there are attractions which deceive so many kids, And to follow these temptations will put them on the skids. Please give them what they need in spiritual perspective, And make their minds, their wills, and hearts totally receptive To Your Spirit’s compelling leading, so that they know Your grace And that always they’ll be with You, in Your eternal place. * Thank you. * Recognized
