Pondering the milk-bottle tulip,

I think of cows and windmills;

I've thought of roses on pianos,

comedians in the Catskills.

Pondering the milk-bottle tulip,

Kool-aid poured in paper cups;

"Five cents each" on notebook paper,

and dozing dachshund pups.
