In the beginning was the Word And the Word was God Jesus is the living Word And that is where my faith lies   He said His Word would not return void But accomplish that which He desires And achieve the purpose for which He sent it His Word is what I base my faith on   For He is not a man that He should lie Nor the son of man that He should repent Has He not said it And will He not bring it to pass   His Word is truth and has power It is my firm foundation When I pray, I pray the Word And my faith is solid and secure
