A Midwest marvel, this poet I proclaim, remember his name, Gary Maclean, he pens of the joy and beauty of Christianity, of remembrance, and an altruistic writer is he.   He helps me with my abysmal grammar, his stories can have the impact of Thor's hammer, he's devoted to his wife, a friend to many of us here on FS for life, I wish I could present him with a plaque, us fellow poets have his back.   I've read much FS verse, poets who also converse, yet, this bard with a genius brain, I'm surprised I haven't driven insane! ~     Writing Prompt The topic for this Poetry Contest is Write a Poem about Someone here on FanStory Write a poem that somehow incorporates the topic. The poem does not have to be specifically about the topic and creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
