We are not related; it just seems as though we are
From somewhere in the Universe, I found a shining star
She lives far to the east and I'm from the mid~ northwest
I wish that she could visit here, that she could be my guest
She's caring and encouraging, with such a loving heart
We've never met in person, but connected from the start
As she tells me of her family, I see such a vibrant soul
An in and outward beauty, that's so very beautiful
We share a love of writing, but we each have different styles
We cheer each other on, in spite of fourteen hundred miles
Some think it would be easy, to pretend we're what we're not
If that were true, our friendship soon would be an afterthought
We have so much in common; we find new things everyday
So often our opinions, feel exactly the same way
I can see her smile coming through, an email or a text
I love her sense of humor; I can't wait to see what's next
We share our faith in God; an easy topic to convey
We both have our health issues; for each other we both pray
Since God has been so Gracious, I am thrilled to be confessing
My Sister of the Universe, is such a Lovely Blessing
