Our service men of all branches,
just what is it I can say?
They are all amazingly brave,
we owe them our freedom today.
Just stop and think for a moment,
they're risking their lives for us all.
In wars long past and still today,
they stop us from taking a fall.
My father fought in World War Two,
he never spoke of what he saw.
If not for him and his comrades,
we could be under German law.
We need them now more than ever,
in such a tumultuous world.
I honor them with all my heart,
freedom's flag, they keep it unfurled.
Please if you happen to see one,
a serviceman of any branch.
Go shake their hand and just thank them,
for not leaving freedom to chance.
