Exceptional Contest entry I'll Pass by damommy ~Resolutions for 2022 ~ writing prompt entry

Resolving to accomplish goals next year  is something I should plan on, so I’m told. But why, say I, it does no good at all  ‘cause I forget and none do I uphold.   What should I do?  Go on a diet, no sweets,  or treats for me.  Potato chips are out, no doubt, no pies or cakes of any kind.  That only leaves bean shoots and brussels sprout.   So many tasks to set and then not keep.   I’ll save myself the trouble, skip them all. No guilt at all I feel, I must confess,  so, I’ll pass up this new year folderol.   Writing Prompt Write a rhyming POEM of at least 8 lines about resolutions for 2022.
