This work has reached the exceptional level
A Free Verse poem...

Thankful

What do you do
when darkness surrounds
when your soul sinks below

How do you move
through your life of gloom
through the head talk inside

One thought is all it takes
to switch on your precious light

If you take to praying
a negative thought cannot reside
where a positive thought is in control

Gone is the dark as
thankfulness takes its place
