The misadventures of a rolling stone

Ricky The Rock

by Brett Matthew West

Ricky The Rock

Ricky the Rock sat high on a hill
Pondering evil and no goodwill
Why do you always devise a plan
To constantly fight your fellow man

No one to guide him on the right trail
Ricky the Rock was certain to fail
From the day he was a mere stone
The lonely pebble lived all alone

Ricky saw a gun on his TV
He exclaimed, "That is the thing for me!"
With that I can rob, steal, and plunder
I'll render the whole town asunder

Ricky's crimes became legendary
His reign of terror quite contrary
Stripes, and bars, and a cold steel cell
Ricky the Rock had a story to tell

One day they brought a mean sledgehammer
Ricky's brave speech became a stammer
With one fell blow he turned into dust
A lesson to be learned by all of us

Ricky the Rock sat high on a hill
Pondering evil and no goodwill
