Good news

The rally I attended last Saturday

chased away my blues

And since then, they’ve stayed away.

We were amazed by the humongous crowd

When the emotional high

gave way to a breathless sigh

making us all want to laugh out loud.

The positive changes within our sights

Let us know that our freedom is at stake

reminding us we have Constitutional rights.

While fighting all the Presidential hypocrisy

I’m doing the best I can to work for peace

to achieve a better democracy.
