Excellent

Weather patterns have moods too

This Spring

by Claire Tennant

Spring passed by where nothing grew
humidity stunted nature too
so hot we could not breathe
dry grass like you wouldn't believe
things that often come to mind
forgotten this Spring

Oh, it is not always the case
when springtime is embraced
the things we expect to see
Natures gifts repeatedly
give us strength each warm day
time for work and play

I'm not a fan of humidity
We got it this spring
