A Close Encounter
In Plane Sight

The boy was nineteen; the girl, eighteen, beautiful. Passengers on a plane.
They were holding hands, then snuggling and smooching.
The plane’s main engine blew. The plane dropped straight downward, hitting ground.
The reporter asked the boy, “How did you survive that plane crash?”
He replied, “There was a plane?”
