And my attempts to avoid giving in

My Husband's Need

by Debi Pick Marquette

The author has placed a warning on this post for sexual content.

My husband always wants it and he has a one track mind

The urge is so intense, he swears without it he'll go blind

I told him no before, but he hears not what I say

He's not afraid to beg, but should he always have his way

His pleading is pathetic, as he asks me once again

If I give in one more time, what will he ask for then

He's even tried a new technique; be sweet and try to flirt

He must be really desperate, or starting now to hurt

I've seen him lose his temper and at times he's lost his head

I'd much rather see him lose, something else instead

The flesh is getting weaker, as he tells me of his need

Please get some self control and release me of this deed

I feel like when I give him some, it always goes so quick

I hate to be so blunt, but it can actually make me sick

I know it's just not healthy, to keep giving him his dream

Doctor told you no, OK I'll get you some ice cream
